nice and是英语口语中的固定搭配, 它相当于一个副词, 作“很”，“挺”，“非常”解，用来加强其后的形容词或副词的程度及语气。类似nice这种用法，能用于and之前的形容词不多，它们主要是big, bright, good, fine, lovely和rare等。这种结构之后多接令人愉快的词语，有时也可接令人不愉快的词语，一般用于非正式场合。如：

The air today is nice and clean.今天的空气真清新。

The car is going nice and fast .这辆汽车跑得挺快。

He is big and busy.他忙得不可开交。

Mike was up bright and early.迈克起得很早。
